Hi! Welcome to the JcrossC Photography website. I’m so glad you stopped by. Allow me to introduce myself!

I was born and raised here in Western Montana, surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the Bitterroot Valley. I discovered photography through 4-H in my youth. The program taught fundamentals and seeded the passion I have today. It even helped me land my first job out of high school, working for a well- known portrait agency.

I married my high school sweetheart. Their Army career transported us all across the globe. This offered many amazing photo opportunities. The frequent moves postponed my dream of a photography business. I, however, continued to explore photography as a no-fee hobby photographer, taking family and wedding photos during my family’s 20 years of service.

In 2019, my husband retired from active duty, and we made our final move back home to the Bitterroot Valley of Montana, fulfilling our youthful plan to raise our family here…home. This move created the golden opportunity to establish roots for JcrossC Photography.

When not behind a camera, you can find me serving disadvantaged youth from 8-5, prioritizing family time, chasing sporting events, and exploring the Bitterroot National Forest by horseback.

I take great pride in my work and my ability to capture those sweet, precious moments life throws at you. I sincerely look forward to meeting you and learning how I can fulfill your photography needs.

JcrossC Photography represents a family brand, J+C.

Carved in 1998 by two high school sweethearts the day before he left for Army Basic Training, this mark still holds their story - a moment of young love paused in time, and the beautiful life they now live just yards away from this very tree, 27 years later!

I’d be honored to work with you.
